well on first place I chose wordpress because i think it is very easy to control, it is very similar to blogsome.
my second choice was blogger because it has some extra things such as grammar corrector or function that saves everithing you do automatically.
and my last choice was blogsome because i lourned about it and now it is easy to contol.

“Identity theft is a term used to refer to fraud that involves stealing money or getting other benefits by pretending to be someone else. The term is relatively new and is actually a misnomer, since it is not inherently possible to steal an identity, only to use it. The person whose identity is used can suffer various consequences when they are held responsible for the perpetrator’s actions. In many countries specific laws make the use of another person’s identity for personal gain a crime.”

There are several lawsuits going on in Spain that affect the defamation of character, although they affect both persons involved in the case, for example there are laws that protect the accused; so they aren’t really strict laws.

Many dangers could happen to you if you post videos on youtube, for example,
• He or she could now or find out where you are from
• He or she could look for you and kidnap you
• They could scare your family or friends by calling them
• You could be breaking a law without even knowing that you were because a person could have been taped and then posted in the internet without your permission.
• A pedophile could found things about you and then come to take you.

7. How can images damage your school’s reputation or your own? Give an example of a situation that you have seen that could have been damaging had it been put on youtube.
If you put in internet a video of you doing inappropriate things with some friends and suddenly the name of our school comes out in the images and a parent sees that, that could be a less student for our school and then this parent could tell another one and so on… It wouldn’t be good for our schools reputation.
8. If you wish to put something on Youtube that involves a school related project what steps must be taken?
You would have to inform yourself and ask the people involved if they want to be seen in the internet, when this is done you have to ask for permission to a person or teacher, like to Mr. Alex and if he agrees then you are free to do this.

9. Do we need to protect ourselves from others only, or also from ourselves?
I think that we mostly have to protect ourselves from others in first place, because they could do or tell things about you that you’d hurt you a lot. And after that maybe think of how to protect ourselves like thinking of what things are more appropriated than others.

10. How can computers been found? How can the police find out that your computer was responsible for posting something illegal?
If you post something illegal on internet the police would find out because of your IP. Every time you post something on internet that program gets your computers IP. That’s the way in which police find out.
11. How can you protect yourself from stalkers or pedifiles finding you on the internet?
You can protect yourself by not putting things that involve your own information such as your address or your telephone number in programs in the internet.
12. Is technology creating unforseen problems in our lives, give at least two examples in areas beyond identity theft and defamation of character, give at least two examples of other areas.
Technology is really being a problem in our lives. As a personal one I would say that by using the MSN my spelling is very bad because I write things like “lol” Instead of laughing out loud. It is also a problem because people can watch you by the cam web and you don’t even know that they are doing these things.
